  1. This directory contains a DVI previewer for PCs with MS-DOS, developed
  2. by Prof. Jacques Goldberg of Technion University, Haifa, Israel.

  4. The distribution includes the DVIEW previewer, a set of Computer Modern
  5. fonts in PXL format at a variety of magnifications together with
  6. corresponding TFM files, the User Guide for the program in both text and
  7. DVI formats and a small number of fonts in the (now obsolete) Almost
  8. Modern (AM) format. The AM fonts are only required to print the User
  9. Guide and are not needed in normal use.  The PXL fonts will occupy
  10. about 3 Megabytes on a hard disk.

  12. The files in this directory are ARC-format archives produced using PKPAK
  13. version 3.31 and converted into ASCII using the MAKEBOO utility.

  15. To use this set of files, you should have the DEBOO utility to decode the .BOO
  16. files into .ARC archives and an ARC-format unpacker such as PKUNPAK to extract
  17. the files from each archive.
